Peter was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1953. Educated at Auckland Boys Grammar, and trained as a Graphic Artist at Auckland Technical Institute. A mainly self taught artist Peter Wallers has been painting professionally since 1973. An exhibiting member of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, Wellington, he now lives and works from his Studio at Acacia Bay, Taupo.
